CCTV Installation Terms and Conditions
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the installation of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems provided by [Service Provider Name] (hereafter referred to as "Service Provider") to [Client Name] (hereafter referred to as "Client"). These terms and conditions apply to all CCTV installation projects and should be read carefully before agreeing to the service.
1] Scope of Services:
Installation Services: The Service Provider will supply and install CCTV cameras, recorders, and associated equipment as specified in the service agreement.
Site Survey: A site survey will be conducted by the Service Provider prior to installation to determine the best locations for cameras and equipment.
Setup and Configuration: The Service Provider will ensure that all CCTV cameras, recording devices (DVR/NVR), and monitoring systems are set up and configured correctly for optimal performance.
Training: The Service Provider will provide basic training on how to operate the CCTV system, including how to view live footage, access recordings, and use the monitoring software or app.
Testing: After installation, the Service Provider will test the system to ensure it is functioning as expected.
2] Client Responsibilities:
Access to Premises: The Client must provide the Service Provider with access to the installation site at agreed-upon times to perform the installation and testing.
Electrical and Network Infrastructure: The Client is responsible for ensuring that the necessary electrical and network infrastructure (e.g., power outlets, internet connection) is available and in good condition for the installation.
Approval of Installation Plan: The Client agrees to approve the placement of cameras and equipment following the site survey. Any changes to the plan during or after installation may incur additional charges.
Data Security: The Client is responsible for maintaining the security of the CCTV system, including passwords and user access.
3] Pricing and Payment Terms:
Cost of Installation: The total cost of installation is as per the agreed quote, which may include hardware, installation, configuration, training, and any other associated services.
Payment Schedule: A deposit of fifty percentage is due upon acceptance of the agreement. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation.
Additional Charges: Any work or services outside the scope of the initial agreement, such as additional cameras, rewiring, or system upgrades, may incur additional charges. These will be communicated and approved by the Client in writing before proceeding.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via [list accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit card, cheque, etc.].
4] Warranty and Support:
Hardware Warranty: The Service Provider will offer a one year warranty on the CCTV equipment and components, covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, or environmental factors.
Installation Warranty: The Service Provider offers a one year warranty on installation and setup, which covers any defects in the installation process (e.g., faulty wiring or camera misalignment).
Post-Installation Support: The Service Provider will offer basic post-installation support for troubleshooting and software issues for six month from the installation date. Extended support packages can be purchased separately.
5] Exclusions:
The following are not covered under this agreement unless specified otherwise:
Damages caused by power surges, fire, vandalism, or natural disasters.
Damage to the CCTV system resulting from improper use or unauthorized tampering by the Client or third parties.
Monitoring or remote viewing services beyond the initial setup unless specifically agreed upon.
Costs for ongoing maintenance or repairs that fall outside the warranty period.
6] Installation Timeline:
Start Date: The installation will begin on a mutually agreed date.
Completion Date: The installation is expected to be completed within as per the requirement from the start date, subject to the availability of necessary equipment and client cooperation.
Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as unavailability of equipment or access restrictions, will be communicated to the Client promptly.
7] Liability:
Service Provider Liability: The Service Provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, property damage, or business interruption, arising from the use or failure of the CCTV system.
Client Liability: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from any liability resulting from the improper use or modification of the CCTV system after installation.
8] Privacy and Data Protection:
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the CCTV system complies with relevant privacy and data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents for surveillance, where applicable.
The Service Provider will not store, share, or misuse any data captured by the CCTV system unless required by law or explicitly agreed upon.
9] Termination:
Termination by the Client: The Client may terminate the installation agreement before the start of the installation for any reason by providing 10 Days written notice. The Client will be responsible for any costs incurred up to the point of termination.
Termination by the Service Provider: The Service Provider may terminate the agreement if the Client fails to provide necessary access or payment as per the agreed terms.
10] Force Majeure:
Neither party will be held responsible for any delays or failures to perform under this agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
